Genie+ is a complicated new system that replaces the formerly free FastPass+ program. Essentially, guests have the option to pay a daily rate to have access to a queing system that they can book rides (once per attraction) throughout the day. Like the Fastpasses of old, when your alloted time is up, you enter into a “Lightning Lane” — a faster queue than waiting in standby.
